im always late..

last night i went to luis' house with kathy
we watched "how i met your mother"
i had NEVER seen this show..and now im
completely hooked. i dont understand
why i am always late on tv shows...i am not
a lost or heroes fan...i don't even know whats
really on any network anymore...i only watch
a few cable channels and there are only two
shows that i make an effort to watch "best week ever"
and "it's always sunny in philadelphia."
So we only made it through disc 1 but we have
decided instead of bff movie night it will now be
bff tv night and we will hopefully finish before
the new season starts....
somehow we ended up talking till around 3am when
we then decided it was necessary to have a photoshoot..

sometimes watching the office cures all...

Today i was my day off
and i accomplished nothing but relaxing.
I went to my favorite thrift store on alondra and clark,
it was kind of a bad day to go thrifting i only got 4 things
and in my opinion they weren't even that great...

Later in the day i met up with shadi, she took me to this place by her job that was amazing...it had like this build in pond and we took our holga's and took some pictures and stuff.
The place was pretty awesome because of the repetitive patterns it had all around. I of course took some pictures of that and then decided that maybe i wanted to get in the pond....but then i remembered i was a puss and i dont have the money to pay a fine for that but i did anyways ..and felt bad that my feet probably contaminated that pond BAD..hahaha
We were suppose to go see 2 days in paris but opted to just go get in n out and watch the office season 3 at her house. Before we got in n out we stopped at barnes n nobles and just looked around .
Now i know this all sounds nerdy to everyone but i fucking love barnes and nobles there is something about books that just makes me happy (i think its the smell) i read a bit which might be a suprise to some but the older i get the more reserved and shy i have become maybe im regressing as time passes by but i have to say i really do i enjoy my alone time with a good book. So we browsed around barnes and nobles i ended up reading teen vogue while shadi bought a book and then we headed back to her house while ryan adams' halloween head played basically on repeat the whole time (gosh do we love him)
so watching the office was fun i realized that i had seen more of season 3 than i thought and that for some reason i really liked karen with jim (dont hate) but halfway through this realization shadi was already asleep maybe it was hitting 10 o' clock ...yeah no matter what we do ..after nine she is always yawning so trust me i didnt expect her to stay up past disc 1...

fashion week...

i was just catching up on new york fashion week last night and was thouroughly dissapointed
mostly because the lack of color in the collections that have shown.
It's spring and maybe to me spring means color...but all the collections i have seen have been bombarded with black,white and grey, and when there is color its always muted.
it seems no one has any fun in fashion anymore..
i just want to see something new and suprising !
but maybe fashion is kind of on the backburner right now
that's why places like american apparel are making the big cash.
everyone wants to go back to being simple..no fuss...
who knows..

the one big collection that has shown has been L.A.M.B.
i read somewhere that Gwen's inspiration was going back to
her ska roots...and i could see that a bit..but it mostly looked
like mod/punk and then it kind of went somewhere else with the print...
























there was also some green striped printed shirts and dresses
that she showed but those just seemed more out of place than the print
did. At least she used color though!!!!











One collection that i really liked though was Lela Rose, she had some cute
cuts for dresses and orange was a prominent color in her collection .

hopefully we will see more color in the collections that are left to show this week

just enjoying the macs we cannot own and basically drooling
over the new ipods...
im investing in a new ipod classic as soon as i can
160 gb(like a band right sha?)

nothing seems to be exciting in entertainment..
but really how classic is it for a disney channel star
to be outed as a sex kitten just as she is barely 18
i feel bad for her i really do ..

i caught a shoplifter today!

it basically made me feel badass!
for some weird reason..i hate when
people think they could just get away
with stealing ...it just angers me...
and to catch at least one person just makes
me feel a little better as if our shrink problem
will go away which it wont..

so yeah lesson to be learned don't steal
it's kind of pathetic..kind of high schoolish
and really really stupid..because it's never anything
big..always..sunglasses ..necklaces..or wallets..like
fuck kids...save your allowance and buy yourself a clue.

so holiday shoppers get hella crazy..
if you are one..please be nice to employees
normally we have migraines and have people asking
the same stupid question about 888729834 times..
we are just trying to deal....

went to visit candice with her friends at some
bowling alley till we realized we had to pay 17 dollars

welcome back

im back in california and will be updating this all the time..promises..promises..
it's work work work for me.
tomorrow is labor day and i work all day it seems im going to be missing out in the bbq's and the rest time but i needs the CASH !!!!!!
in the past week since i've been home..i've been eating EVERYTHING in sight...and just hanging with friends and fam (oh and did i mention work?)

while i was gone my family decided to invest in one of those huge inflatable kind of pools..i dont know what it is besides awesome because well...the heat is really turning up here in california and this has become our savior!...

so saturday consisted at sushi , superbad (once again..michael cera be my lover ) and some latenight pool session with the sisters and shadi....

im kind of angry because i can't find an espresso brownie ANYWHERE ..if anyone knows of a starbucks that still carries it let me know..

i also need to go thrift store shopping soon..anyone down?

i dont feel at all like i fall

I wish with everything in me that i was an artist.
It would be awesome to be able to create things from my imagination,
something that captured a feeling precisely when i was feeling it would be
AMAZINGyet i am not ...and i think that is why i am drawn to photography, it's defitnetly the closest i'll get to capturing something.


I love going online for hours and just looking up artist, mostly i got to places like
art dorks or tiny showcase to see what new prints they have up for sale..

today i accidently stumbled upon this young lady

Kris Atomic.

she makes some really cute doodles and drawings..
this is my favorite from one of her projects



it's simple and cute...
