passing time.

i don't like kate nash.
i really don't ...i mean i get it, i get her appeal..
it's like the moldy peaches ...i get it..
but just like the moldy peaches im not neccesarily a fan but i LOVE a few of their songs..
i can't stop listening to "merry happy" and "foundations" by kate nash..
now i know these are the singles and therefore i don't feel guitly because by association
singles are suppose to be catchy and pretty much get into your head till you feel there is no end..
so in my opinion she is doing her job...
as for the moldy peaches they are just annoying and eventhough we all love the song " anyone else" and by far i love love love the song " nothing came out" i really just can't stand listening to anything else they sing about.
which i don't understand since i listen to both kimya dawson and adam green on their own records but i can't appreciate them together???
why am i so picky?
you know 3 years from now im going to declare kate nash and moldy peaches as my favorite bands of all time and then everyone will be like "you see...you just didn't know what you were talking about"...
sound familiar ... rilo kiley

saying goodbye..

Moving to new york in a week..
and i've been trying to get my fill of places..
I really haven't even started packing
i have a general idea of the things i want to bring
Book's , movies, sweaters, some cute dresses, keepsakes, and my camera's
but besides that everything is pretty much disposable...
who knows how im going to fit my life into two 50lbs suitcases but it must me done and fast..
I recently went back to san francisco to say goodbye to jen..
and im so glad i went , sf always reminds me of nyc..
and it was almost like good practice.
I mostly just hung with jen doing the usual...photobooths and lunch.
Her apartment is so cute and i just love that we are both grandma's that like to
sit at home and watch "bravo" instead of go out and party.. We did go ice skating though,
which i haven't done in years and i realized that my ankles are not up for it..after a few rounds around the rink i was pretty much done and upset that everyone could skate circles around me "literally" and i was such an amature..hahaha..
I think nick said it best "we don't pay a park to walk around in circles" hahaha
but we did pay the ice rink for that exactly ....
but none the less we had fun and i didn't fall ONCE..
back at the apartment it was WAR literally as i watched nick kill off all these people on his video games...i finally met TAI the cat and he is so cute..
i loved just hanging out around the house with those two and maybe hopefully they will come out and visit me when im all settled.. ...here are some pics
