back to new york

..well at least for 2 days..
yes you read right i went back to new york city for TWO FREAKING DAYS!!! but still my chicago visit holds the record for shortest trip i've ever taken.It was soo nice to be back seeing my friends and just walking around the city! I spent most of my time with Rusha eating dirty mexican food in brooklyn. The best thing about being in new york was that the last day i was there it was almost freezing everyone was bringing out their fall coats and i just felt like fall was actually here. There are no weather (at least severe) changes in los angeles so it was nice to remember how that felt.

Steph and I went to this snazzy little diner in brooklyn that i hope to visit again real soon. As cliche as it sounds Williamsburg is such a cute little neighborhood and i always love finding
new places to visit there, especially with steph since we both seem to gravitate towards the
same atmospheres.


I spend my last few hours there walking around little italy and greenwich village with Rusha and "Paul". Sometimes i just feel like i live in this weird corner of the world where there is a tunnel that connects new york and california together! I wish i could make enough money to be bi-coastal but for now im going to have to settle with visiting every few months because living there just never works out for me. :(

Haaaavvveeee you met Ted?...kind of

Depending on how well you know me .. You'd probably guess that one of my
favorite shows ever is How I Met Your Mother. For all you geeks out

there this is my Lost or Heroes. I follow this show so closely

dissecting plot lines and characters to ultimately get closer to finding
out who the damn mom is. To say I watch this show religiously is an
understatement, so yesterday when me and lex had just luckily strolled
passed Josh Radnor on the streets of hollywood I wanted to jump out of
my skin. Fucking "Ted Mosby" was sitting outside a little cafe talking
on the phone and I was flabbergasted. Lex wouldn't let me go talk to him
obviously because that really would of been weird but I heard the Ted
voice in person and that was really enough! Now that's one down four
more to go...haha just kidding...well kind of.

I dissed seth rogen....

Now if you know anything about me you would know that I have a very
unusual crush on the normal celebrities.. You know the ones that look
like they walk down your street everyday ( Jason Segel , Seth Rogen ,
Michael Ian Black etc. )These are the guys that seem to get me to go all
gaga over, you know the anti celebrity. Me and Shadi have been obsessed
over Mr. Jason Segal and Mr. Seth Rogen for over a year. Awhile ago we
designed a fool proof plan to guarantee us meeting them, we would write
a film about it. Easy enough right? Wrong! The film would be based on
two nerdy girls who are obsessed with meeting these two "celebrities'
and on their adventure hilarity ensues. Okay okay I know sounds like the
lamest movie ever but really we only had one goal in mind ACTUALLY
meeting said stars, which is why today is such a sad day for me.

Today started normal, work as usual, there were only two people ringing
me and this one kid I trained . So being that he was just being trained
he couldn't take returns. I was on the middle of this one long studio
transaction almost at my wits end. I rang for half an hour and still
wasn't done so you have to understand where the aggravation stemed from.
This one guy looks like he is going to come up to me while I'm still
ringing the studio , I give him the "annoyed bc I'm still ringing
someone up " look (yes this is a look) He was a real normal looking
fellow, khaki shorts , baseball cap , sunglasses and oversized shirt. I
look at him one more time this time noticing that he has a receipt in
his hands and I think to myself "this mothafucka has to do a return!
Shit" since I'm in the middle of the long ass transaction and I'm the
only one that could process returns at the time. I keep looking at him
wondering if I should ask him if he needs help but since I'm assuming
its a return I figure I have to do it anyways and ill just wait till he
goes up to the other associate and he calls me over. So when he finally
comes up to the register he hands over the hat and says "you guys left
this on my hat" as soon as I heard the voice I knew. IT WAS FUCKING SETH
ROGEN!!! I stared in awe as he walked out of the store and there I was
the bitch who didn't want to attend him.....Maybe one day I will write
the movie and ill make a real canadian style low budget film and when I
invite him to the screening we will finally properly meet and he'll say
to me "your the bitch that didn't want to help me" sigh it will be love.
