longest day ever...

Yesterday I was held captive by my family with a few thousand other people at a Festival for Peruvian independence day. I am not normally into festivals but this time i wanted to show a little bit of pride for my heritage. Now when i was asked to come along to the event i was under the impression that i would eat some amazing Peruvian food while browsing through some cute stand and wishing that i had money to shop. None of that happened..instead i was stuck with an allergy attack , i couldn't eat anything because the lines were so long it would take more than half an hour anywhere to get food..and the entertainment was horrible...

Me and Gaby tried to escape once and we made it half a mile till we realized we were walking the wrong way...It seemed like there was no where to go I just had to sit and deal with my fate...There was a highlight of the day ... When Gaby asked if i could take a pic of her jumping mid air..this is what i came out with...

My little sister took a seat and it looked like she might of made the puddle..hahaha

my little sister wrote this...

now she is probably going to come off as the most narcissistic child EVER
but really she means well..or at least i hope she does ..
she wrote this in her diary..it might be a short story ..or a poem? maybe ?
anyways this is what goes on in my 7 year old sisters head...be very afraid

There is nothing wrong with being beautiful unless you always look in the mirror all
the time. 3 boys like me but i don't always talk about it, i think? Sometimes when people are beautiful they put a lot of makeup on and look like a clown in public. But i dont do that neither my family , my mom and grandma only put on lipstick and that's okay. Sometimes people put on makeup all the time. Sometimes being beautiful is creative, sometimes it could be an art make up face. But everybody's beautiful no matter what any one else says it's your opinion not theirs. We can all have different makeup unless it too much makeup and the amount of makeup your mom says for kids is your mom's opinion . the end.

i've been gone since i arrived...

Since I've been home i've sort of been lost in a whirlwind of an old me...
I went and saw Brand New once, and Jesse Lacey play solo acoustic with Kevin
Devine for 3 shows. I've actually been to a show every day since Sunday. I'm
really exhausted! but im glad i went because i just absolutely love this man's
music. GEEK i know....

So excited to be flying virgin america! I Will miss this city and its people more than i can describe...but for now im excited for in n out ..friends .. and family.

Me and Rusha decided to take a day trip to Montauk, we really had no idea what we were going to do there besides wander around...

and finally i went to go see michael ian black do a book reading..
he was just amazing....so funny..i was too shy to go get my book signed
so rusha did the honors..not before embarassing me and getting him to wave
over to me..hahaha ....

i've done a lot

In this city... mainly walking though. I do walk everywhere which would normally cause a person to lose a lot of weight but i think i eat more than i walk which pretty much evens out the whole thing. Since me and rusha teamed up earlier this summer i think we have eaten mexican food almost every day ( i might be exaggerating a little) , or at least almost every other day. I don't crave anything more than a good ol' burrito and a huge batch of guacamole with it. This could really be unhealthy (seriously ha) I've been spending time doing random things..

Today i went to the International Center of Photography, it was pretty fucking amazing . They had a exhibition called heavy light and it was all these photographers from Japan who were doing amazing things. One of the photographers i really liked was named Tomoko Sawada . she shoots things and uses herself as a her only model. She had this amazing photo on display called school days where she recreated a japanese school photo but as herself as every student.



It's pretty awesome! anyways besides museums and such here are a few pictures of what i've been up to .
