sunny days are here again

It's been good lately, I don't know what it is but my attitude has made a 360. I went to being depressed and stressed all the time to being happy and more care-free. Maybe it is because when your down there is nowhere to go but up? I hope so because i am really starting to enjoy the weather and just the city vibe right now. It might have something to do with the sunny skies or it might have something to do with the fact that i just bought a nikon d40!!! I've wanted one for soo many years and now i finally own one, and im playing with it like crazy.

A camera is almost like a friend in a way that you really have to get yourself adjusted to it, this could take forever sometimes, my first digital camera i knew like the back of my hand. Depending on the picture i was taking and such i knew without thinking what were the right settings,and lighting, etc... which is amazing because i am not a good technical photographer so those things are kind of eh to me and don't come to me as fast..so now with this new camera ..it's all about exploring ! giving me more control over my picture (which could be a bad thing) but still having the luxury of digital.

Lex, Rusha, and I  went to central park today since it was 74 degrees in new york city. It was such an nice trip walking through central park and just enjoying each others company. We walked all the way to the Met and just people watched for awhile while sharing the most expensive meal off a cart ever!!! 14 dollars for two hot dogs and two sodas...wtf??? I didn't even care though because i was finally having a really good day...I took some pictures of my excursion and please pardon the rookie-ness. I'm just getting to know my camera and this might be a long relationship ...
