Wtf? Is wrong with people!?!

So today a woman comes in to purchase some clothes , you know normal
everyday shit since I work at a retail store. So the woman leaves and
her bag goes off, the girl who rung her up had carefully taken off all
the hard tags , but her register wasn't working so the soft tags were
still activated. The lady comes storming up to the associate who rung
her up and starts screaming " You embarrassed me, you made me look like a
thief...you don't know how to do your job...yada yada yada.." The girl
runs the tags through the deactivate her one more time and politely says (
maybe a bit sarcastic ) "sorry about that ...here you go have a nice
day"
The woman proceeds to storm off angry and as she walks out she beeps
again! This is when all hell breaks lose! She comes over I mean lunging
towards my manager screaming about how dare they ..yada yada yada
....and throws her purchase at my managers face telling her as loud as
humanly possible to return it ...and that she doesn't want any of it.
..she goes on to tell us we hate our customers and we don't care about
putting them through that kind of embarrassment. Hmmm lets weigh it out
for her.. A door going off which is very common at all retails stores
and rarely means that someone is stealing.. Or an older woman screaming
and throwing bags in the middle of a store. Maybe things are done
differently in europe and being loud and obnoxious is really being quiet
and discreet! Maybe everyone in europe suffers from a case of opposites
day, or maybe just maybe it was just the crazy woman. We ask to see her
receipt and she rips it in half going on about how there should be a way
to regulate this system. Hey lady did anyone regulate your medication
today? I think not! I processed her return and it only added up to 136
dollars. Now don't get me wrong I think 20 bucks is a lot of money but
she made the biggest scene , talked about insulted she was and how she
would never shop there again (thank god) and she only spent 136
dollars...psshhhh sit down woman!
Anyways she went on to say that if she saw one charge from our store on
her statement she would sue us personally. How else would she sue us
though? Impersonally? Is that possible ? Or does she mean she would act
as the lawyer? So confusing but she went out and this time she didn't
beep so I guess at the end of the day she won?
